Rural/Urban Transit Work Horses
The work horses are especially suited to rural, poor quality roads. They utilize single cylinder engines with power ranging from 12 – 24 HP, with simple V-belt transmission.
The work horses are the answer to farmers’ transportation needs for taking produce to the market in time especially for perishables. Every farmer can own one of these, thereby eliminating the dependency on public transportation, which in many cases are operated on weekly schedules to rural areas.
Likewise, in the inner cities, they are a substitute to accident-prone motor cycles and otherwise, over-capacity trucks, offering higher throughput where a motor cycle’s loading capacity is insufficient and a truck’s capacity is not warranted.
